August Newsletter 2025

I hope this letter finds you well. As we continue to serve outside at The Rock at Noonday, I recently had an encounter that reminded me why this work matters so deeply. While asking guests to kindly clear the sidewalks so those with disabilities and members of the community could pass through safely, I met a man named CJ.

As we walked together toward the front of the line where lunch was being served, we began talking. CJ, 32 years old, shared that he never imagined he would become homeless or an addict. His childhood was shaped by instability, and he grew up feeling forgotten. Now, as an adult trying to turn his life around, he is doing so without family or outside support.

He said, "Don't see us as homeless - see us as people who just want to be loved and cared for." His honesty was powerful and deeply humbling.

Before we parted ways, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with CJ. He smiled and said, "I want that." In that moment, it was clear he genuinely felt seen, known, and loved.

Your prayers, generosity, and willingness to volunteer make stories like CJ's possible. Thank you for helping us be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who need it most.

Dec Newsletter 2024

As we approach the end of another year at The Rock at Noonday, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude for each of you. Your generosity, prayers, and support have been a lifeline to many in our community.

Last week, a client shared that she and her husband, a veteran, secured housing after more than two years of homelessness and would move into their new home on December 3, 2024.

For the first time in years, they have a safe place to call home and the stability needed to begin reuniting with their son, who has been in foster care.

Their story is a powerful testament to what happens when people come together to provide not just resources, but hope and opportunity.

To our faithful donors, volunteers, and supporters, thank you. Your compassion makes stories like this possible.

Nov Newsletter 2024

As we enter a season of new beginnings and exciting transformations, I am thrilled to share updates about developments at The Rock at Noonday.

We recently initiated the first phase of facility improvements by ordering new office pods. These spaces will allow service providers to meet with clients privately and respectfully.

We were also awarded a grant to purchase solar panels, helping The Rock become more energy-efficient and allowing savings to be reinvested into our programs.

These developments bring us closer to becoming a comprehensive hub for services that support the needs of our community.

Thank you for your dedication to our mission and for helping us carry out this life-changing work.

Today, I want to share a story that illustrates the impact your support has on families who face daily uncertainty even after securing housing.

Housing is a critical step, but the journey does not end there. Many families need ongoing support to manage rent, utilities, food, and daily responsibilities.

Through our food pantry and financial assistance programs, we can offer a helping hand to families who might otherwise slip through the cracks.

A young girl once wrote to us, "Thank you for helping our family. We are very grateful." Her words remind us that practical help brings real relief and hope.

Your continued support allows us to provide not just housing connections, but the comprehensive care needed to maintain stability.

End Of The Year

As we bid farewell to 2023, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible journey we have shared together.

More than 85,000 plates of food were served to those in need, providing nourishment, care, and a sense of community.

Seven individuals and families transitioned into stable housing. These are lives changed, futures restored, and new beginnings made possible through your support.

We also provided clothing, showers, and job resources to help individuals take meaningful steps toward stability.

None of this would have been possible without your generosity, compassion, and belief in our mission.

A Season of Giving

As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the true meaning of giving, compassion, and community.

Recently, we hosted a heartfelt outreach event where families and individuals received warm meals, essential supplies, and gifts.

For many, this season can be difficult, but through your generosity we are able to bring light into moments of darkness.

Every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to change a life.

Together, we are spreading love, restoring dignity, and building a stronger, more compassionate community.
